Introducing SpreeØne

We have developed our first proprietary active ingredient based on three different algae. But what exactly is SpreeØne®, what does SpreeØne® contain, and where can SpreeØne® be found? Here are the answers.

The Vision

How did SpreeØne® come about? First came the idea, and that was to develop a patented Nø-active ingredient that would make our products even more unique and beneficial for the skin. Then, three different types of algae were chosen because of their adaptability and synergy, which offer even more benefits than they would alone. And now we have our own active ingredient, which we will widely use in our future products due to its multifunctional properties, and with which we can also improve our existing products.

The Process

SpreeØne® is based on two algae from the sea and one alga from the Spree river. These phytoplankton were multiplied in the laboratory and treated in a patented manufacturing process to make them more resistant to UV light and free radicals. This creates a pasty biomass, which is dried and further processed into powder. Through distillation, we obtain a colorless active ingredient that carries all the properties of the algae. These benefits can then be transferred to our active ingredient and thus also to our products.
