With the Liquid Illuminator, we and Leon from xskincare have launched our first joint product that can lighten hyperpigmentation and reduce PIE and PIH. Niacinamide, tranexamic acid, acetyl glucosamine, kojic acid, and liquorice root help to achieve an even complexion by fading hyperpigmentation and counteracting redness.

Good to knøw: PIE and PIH often remain after an inflammation.

What are PIE and what are PIH?

PIE (post-inflammatory erythema) refers to reddish discolorations that occur when the capillaries in the skin remain irritated. PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) are dark discolorations on the skin that occur when melanin accumulates.

For the best possible effect, apply a small amount of the Liquid Illuminator to cleansed skin in the morning and/or evening and massage it in.

Rain or shine, summer or winter: UV rays can penetrate clouds at any time. Therefore, sunscreen at the end of your daily routine is essential.

Over time, the liquid may change color and become a bit thicker. However, this is completely normal and does not affect its efficacy, as long as you store it in a cool, dry place.

Important:When incorporating new products into your skincare routine, start with just one product and then gradually add more. This way, you can see if and to which product you might be reacting. If you are unsure whether you tolerate one of the ingredients, test the product beforehand on an inconspicuous area, such as the crook of your arm or behind your ear.

Was ist im Brightening Complex vom Liquid Illuminator enthalten?

Der Wirkkomplex, der insgesamt 10 % ausmacht, enthält u.a. 2 % Acetylglucosamin, 1 % Kojisäure, über 2 % Niacinamide und auch Tranexamsäure. Wir können garantieren, dass unsere Produkte immer so formuliert sind, dass die Wirksamkeit und Verträglichkeit gleichermaßen gewährleistet werden kann.

Muss ich den Liquid Illuminator mit einem Wattepad auftragen?

Tatsächlich reicht es aus, wenn du den Liquid Illuminator mit den Händen aufträgst. So benötigst du deutlich weniger Produkt und hast länger etwas davon. Gib dafür einfach eine geringe Menge in deine Handfläche und verteile das Liquid auf deiner Haut. Danach kannst du deine Gesichtspflege-Routine mit Seren, Cremes und Sonnenschutz fortsetzen.

Wie hoch ist der pH-Wert vom Liquid Illuminator?

Der Liquid Illuminator hat einen pH-Wert von 5,0. Dieser Wert ist hautneutral, dient der Hautregeneration und wird dadurch gut vertragen.

Der Liquid Illuminator wird mit der Zeit gelblich und dickflüssiger. Ist er so noch wirksam?

Es kann durchaus vorkommen, dass das Liquid im Laufe der Zeit die Farbe ändern und auch etwas dickflüssiger werden kann. Das hat aber keinen Einfluss auf die Wirkung. Diese bleibt weiterhin bestehen, solange das Liquid nicht zu warm und nicht zu hell gelagert wird.

Mit welchen Produkten sollte ich den Liquid Illuminator nicht kombinieren?

Bei einer empfindlichen Haut raten wir von einer direkten Kombination mit dem Liquid Refiner, dem AHA/ PHA Peeling Cleanser und dem Chemical Peeling Serum ab, da es hierbei zu einem erhöhten Reizpotential kommen kann.
