The Liquid Refiner is the second liquid developed in collaboration with Leon from xskincare. It removes dead skin cells, reduces blemishes, and refines the complexion. The antioxidants it contains protect the skin from free radicals, moisture loss, and premature skin aging.

Note:We recommend refraining from using the Liquid Refiner (salicylic acid) during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Apply to cleansed skin in the morning or evening. Start with one application per week and gradually increase to up to 4 times a week.

Regardless of rain or shine, summer or winter: UV rays can penetrate clouds at any time. Therefore, sunscreen at the end of your daily routine is essential.

The liquid may change color over time and also become a little thicker. However, this is completely normal and has no effect on its efficacy, as long as you store it in a cool, dry place.

Important:When incorporating new products into your skincare routine, start with one product first and then gradually add more products. This way, you can see if and to which product you might be reacting. If you are unsure whether you tolerate one of the ingredients, test the product first on an inconspicuous area, such as the crook of your arm or behind your ear.

EGCG

Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is an antioxidant found in green tea that protects against free radicals and UV-induced skin damage. It can strengthen the skin barrier, reduce skin irritation, and refine skin texture.

Resveratrol

Resveratrol is an antioxidant primarily found in red grapes that protects against premature skin aging. It neutralizes free radicals, strengthens the skin barrier, and reduces skin irritation.

Salicylic acid + Succinic acid

The combination of succinic acid and 2% BHA removes dead skin cells, supports cell renewal, and promotes elastin production. And it does so gently and effectively, because salicylic acid can penetrate deeper into the skin than, for example, AHAs. Additionally, this combination can help to even out the skin tone and reduce sebum production.

Sodium PCA

Sodium PCA is an extremely moisture-binding active ingredient that is part of the skin's own Natural Moisturizing Factor. It boasts protective properties, is considered an active ingredient booster, and has the ability to soothe skin irritations. Furthermore, it contributes to skin suppleness.

Superoxide Dismutase

Superoxide Dismutase is an enzyme that is among the most powerful antioxidants. It can soothe the skin and protect it from external environmental factors, strengthen the skin barrier, and stimulate collagen synthesis.

How do you apply the Liquid Refiner?

Do I need a cotton pad? No, after cleansing, you can simply put a small amount of the Liquid Refiner into your palm and spread it on your skin. This way, you won't waste any product and it will last longer. Afterward, you can continue your skincare routine and apply serums, creams, and sunscreen.

What is the difference between the Liquid Refiner and the Pore Minimizing Serum?

The Liquid Refiner is a liquid peel that provides long-term refined and clear skin. It cleanses pores, reduces impurities, and makes the skin more receptive to other products.

The Pore Refining Serum creates an instant mattifying effect. A kind of temporary filter that is applied in the morning and washed off in the evening. It absorbs sebum and thus makes pores appear smaller.

What is the pH value of the Liquid Refiner?

The Liquid Refiner has a pH value of 3.8. This acidity makes it possible to remove excess sebum while maintaining the skin barrier's resilience.
